Hi Jesus,
I don’t even know what to say or pray for anymore.
I have nothing new to say... same old stuff I’ve been praying for months.
I bet a lot of your children are saying similar things to you right now.
I know you still care... I know you are still here Jesus.
Even though you aren’t calming all the storms.
Even though you aren’t giving us a quick fix.
I know you see us. Each and everyone one of us, and you care.
Jesus, you’re letting the turmoil happen.
I know that doesn’t change who you are.
But I know it needs to change who we are.
So go ahead and do in our hearts what we clearly won’t do on our own.
Sometimes we need to hit the bottom to look up and really fix our eyes on you.
Our one and only living hope.
Thank you Jesus, for being here with us all through this.
And thank you for what you are about to do.
Because even though it hurts, you’re plan is still good.
It’s always good, because you are always good.
I don’t know what to pray and ask for anymore, and maybe that’s best.
Because now I can focus on just worshipping you.
I can focus on looking for you in this mess.
I know you are here.
I know you still care.
