Held.
He’s holding you, even right now.
Even in this mess. Even in the chaos.
Even though you just really screwed up.
Even though you haven’t sought Him lately.
Even still.
You’re held.
He wants to bring you comfort.
To be your refuge.
To be your fortress.
He wants to be the place that, even right now, you can climb in to for safety.
He’s the place you can go to get away from it all.
Right now.
If you feel like you’re at the bottom, know that His hand is still the thing between you and the hard ground.
Held.
The One who has breathed life into your lungs, He will continue to breathe life into your weary soul.
Things might feel rocky, but you will never be shaken. Because the only thing that can’t be shaken is the One holding you.
He never drops you, His grip is eternal.
He’s closer to you than you are to yourself.
In this moment, you are many things, including held.
Forever held.
